Hi, I've got problems connecting my Pathfinder software (3.6.1) to Linde 394-02 with VW P-D engine; can't connect to the engine software,
I'm using a 3903602503 cable, and a generic RS232 to USB adapter.
Do I perhaps need a Linde original adapter? I've been going through parts lists and found 3903605115. Is that it? I see it's supposed to be for the old Canbox...

I can't connect to VW cpy on any Linde. I can connect to the chassis. I have the latest Linde canbox. I use another device and software to connect to the engine to get faults and perform regenerations. Any thoughts or hacks?
How did you get on with the pd servicebase
Has to be on com port 1
Them go into advanced and change the speed to 4 I think it's normally 16 as standard.
Then change the other one to 200 I think it's normally around 1200
And what's the correct COM port setting?
Usb to serial adaptor will need setting up correctly
Linde recommend using there one but I use a keyspan one as long as the speed is set correctly

not all usb to comport cabless work oke whit linde software
best is old laptop whit comport
