Discussion:
lift truck manuals

My company has recently purchased a used Clark ECG30 lift truck with no owners or service manual. Seems Clark has a monopoly on these manuals as I cannot find any one who sells used ones. Any help on where I can purchase these without paying an arm and a leg AND finger or anywhere I can download one for a minimal fee would be awesome. We are a small company, watching every dime.

Tami, if anyone did have this manual, they could not post it here, and would need a way to contact you. As the forum's software properly strips out any correctly formed URL or E-mail address (to slow down "spam harvester bots") you will need to edit your profile (where you can include your e-mail) to include your e-mail address.

I have gone to the Clark dealer with the serial number they are the ones that wanted 165.00 for the service manual and another 50.00 for the owners manual. I am trying to find a used manual maybe from someone who no longer has a running ECG30 but still has the manual and would like to sell them or someone who has it to download.

Contact yoru local Clark dealer but provide them with the complete serial number of the unit. Clark (and other l/t companies) will only sell thse items to authorized dealers, so if you buy from another dealer they will mark up it up higher.

Fact of the week
The use of "hello" as a telephone greeting is attributed to Thomas Edison. He is said to have suggested it as a simpler alternative to other greetings, such as "Do I get you?" or "Are you there?".
