Hi guys! I have a similar problem, only that all the way around.
I have the serial number but not the model and year, and I need the model to buy parts.
I know it`s a Komatsu FG25 forklift 5000 lbs, and the serial number is M118458415A. I also found and engraving with what I read as 3C6P1(this next one I dont know if it`s a C, G or a cero)51.
How can I know the model and year?

Thanks

Look on the left front fender portion of the wheel well (on top near the front edge).
The number should be visible unless it has been heavily painted over.
The number is made up of a series of closely spaced pin punch marks (if I remember correctly) so you may have to carefully scrape some paint and/or fill in the dots with a contrasting color to see it plainly.

Fact of the week
Bluetooth is named after the 10th-century Viking king, Harald Bluetooth, who united warring tribes in Denmark and Norway. In 1997, Jim Kardach from Intel gave the name to the technology because of its ability to unite different communication protocols, just as Harald united various tribes.
