Komatsu FB20SH-3 accelerator assy

Unit s/n 20078. Traction pot worn out. Replacement pot not listed - per Koma dealer. They provided replacement accel assy p/n 3BA-47-a4510 MAGNETIC ACCEL ASSY. Installed in unit - contactors do not pull in. That is when i noticed MAGNETIC ACCEL ASSY on the pick ticket. The removed accel assy has a mechanical start switch and wire wound pot. I understand why it does not work. Is there an update for installing this accel assy? Was i provided the wrong part? Thanks for any help.

cuzjohn, I would not bother to cross it, just get it from FSIP.biz, since it is going to be in stock (they are whom Robert works for, I am pretty sure), and I am willing to bet the price difference if at all larger will less than the wage of your parts guy for the time he spends to "cross" it.

Looks like the actual part number you need is IC4485ACL1PE01ACAC09. That would be the one with Start Micro switch and a dedicated potentiometer rather than the magnetic hall effect setup.
I'm getting that info from a core we have in stock, I believe that number should fit your application.

hi John,
does the new accelerator have the word "ComeSys" on a silver nameplate on the side?
