Hi keith

I have repaired quite a few of these AC controllers in particular the as4812/14 series.

If you have any spare non working controllers hanging about perhaps i could make a few good ones out of the ones you have?

Email me if this is of any interest

the real question would be why the controllers are failing. Unusual failure and if multiple units failed likely an issue in the application or the associated systems not the controller itself.

Finding the issue and repairing it would easily be cheaper than a conversion.

truck is 2006 customers truck just does not want it ac anymore as it has had 2 hyd. controlers a hyd motor 1 drive motor and now needs a traction controler and interface board
he thinks it is cheaper than to keep sending money on all the ac parts. as truck is modified to do his job cost of replacement truck other than a newer version of this one would be expensive.

any ideas

There is a DC version, how old is your truck as I would not think it would be worth doing?
Everything would need changing as there is a lot of different parts, 3 x controllers, an interface board, dash board, drive motors, hyd motor p/s motor wiring harness!!!
Just not worth what the truck would be worth.
