Discussion:
Jungheinrich efg df error code 054

Hi we have this jungheinrich efg 3 wheeler that uses the 3x mp1514 dc sep ex controllers mounted in the rear of the truck.
Initially we had an alarm 14 steering fault.
I replaced the mp1514 steer /hydraulic control unit and truck works drives and lifts ok. We could hear the steer motor turning on start up.
However when I go to turn the steering wheel I get the error 054 kabel break and fails
So I tried another 3 controllers, all give me error 054 when trying to turn steering wheel.
Then had the steer motor sent away and cleaned and tested.
Tried changing the steering booster sensor in the column, changed the steering pot in the back and tried a different interface 4 card. I even bridged out the pins on the xb2 connector on the interface card for the brush and temp sensors.

I've tested the 2 steer motor cables back to the controller and all ok
I've run out of ideas now. Has anyone had this error 054 issue before that can advise what else I could try.

Regards

Just an update. Today we noticed that we get alarm 054 even when using the hydraulics. The hydraulic continues to work but errors alarm 054 cable break pump.
It even faults 054 when we lower the mast so just operating the valves.

We are really lost with this one.
Any help would really mean something.
Thanks in advance

Fact of the week
The word "okay" (or its abbreviation "OK") originated as a humorous misspelling. In the 1830s, a fad in Boston involved using abbreviations of intentionally misspelled phrases. "OK" stood for "oll korrect," a playful mispronunciation of "all correct".
