Hello. I just picked up a FCG20N6. I have searched exhaustivity but cannot find a **** thing on this machine. I can't even figure out what year it is. The serial number is 48803624. The engine is a Nissan H20 number S69234J. Can anyone tell me how the model number breaks down? What year it might be? Where the **** can I find a parts fische, wiring diagram or service manual? It only has 700 hours and appears to be in goos shape. Thanks for any help.

I also have a TCM FCG20N6 S/N 484-00440 Did you find a service manual for your FCG20N6? Also do you know what type of transmission fluid it uses?
Usually
The model number tells me it is a 5000
Lb gas unit
FGC25 forklift-gas- cushion tired/ or some say solid tire if it has p - it is a pneumatic tire
5,000 lb
In the states we double the number it gives you the capacity fg25 -5,000
Fg30 -6,000 etc
Below is the info on this truck.
Back in those days the distributors installed the LP systems. Only carb parts are in the book. The kits were not standardized and differed by distributor. Best to get make of the LP components and start there. The local Unicarrier dealer should be able to help.

So are all these lifts sold as gasoline units and then propane conversions are performed after the sale? I cannot find any service manual for the propane system on these.
you could try contacting Equipment Depot in Boston. TCM brand was combined with the Nissan brand and became UniCarriers about 10 years ago. All TCM product was replaced with Nissan trucks. About 5 years ago UniCarriers became part of Mitsubishi Logisnext. Equipment Depot is also part of Logisnext. Equipment Depot may refer you to the UniCarriers factory for a truck that old and they may not have info on it. The TCM brand name is still used in Europe.
The letter breakdown makes sense now. It does have side shift so the weight downgrade makes sense also. I would appreciate anything at all you might have. Thank you.
Cant find a break down of model but these were first introduced in 1982
FCG20N6
Usually means
F Forklift
C Cushion tire
G Gas fuel
20 should be 2000kg 4000lbs (At 3500lbs sounds like its been derated due to a hung on attachment such as a sideshifter)
N6 maybe a chassis version or possibly Nissan engine but not sure. Other than that all I see is the diesel versions would be FCD20Z6.
If u need specs or what not I can try to help you out as I do have some info for the truck.
I'm in England so our trucks are metric. 2.0 2.5 3.0 etc refer to kilograms 2.5 = 2500 kilo capacity.
That is extremely helpful. It does have press-on 21x7x15 tires. Don't have a reference to know if the ballast is taller though. Any idea what the 20 or 25 numbers mean? Capacity possibly. Mine says 3500lbs.
Im guessing the c stands for compact, it will have press on band tyres and a taller ballast weight, there designed for working in tighter spaces, apart from that its the same truck
Stefano, there are two separate data plates on the machine and the both say its an FCG20N6. Also, the decals on both sides of the engine cowl say FCG20. The machine has less than 700hrs on it so I don't think its been disturbed. The data plates say 3500lb capacity. Can you tell me the difference between the FCG and FG models? I can find parts and service manuals for an FG but not FCG models. THanks
