The forklift sometimes takes for ever to lower the forks.
All other functions on the forklift work great.
The Mast is a Toyota 3-Stage FSV 189" W/Sideshift
We checked the all the mast bearings & found them to be ok along with the shimming of the rollers & again all is ok.
Goes up good everytime, goes down slowly even when weight is on the forks. The primary Freelift cylinder was just overhauled.
Truck is a 48V Electric powered ride-on. Thanks, Paul

There is meant to be a special tool for removing / fitting one type of the hose rupture valves, we tried to get hold of it the other year for a safety campaign on a BT but no such luck.
The valve had 6 holes on the face, stuck 2 x 4mm allen keys in opposite holes on the valve face then used a adjustable spanner on the allen keys to unscrew the valve.
The other type of valve was a normal internal allen key / hex fitting.
In the bottom of the cylinder, behind the fitting the hose goes to, is a piston and spring "fuse". Check to see if debris is stuck in there or a spring problem.
