Inop in forward gear and back-up horn is on all the time regardless of gear selection

Can anyone help me with a Yale forklift that will only move in reverse and the back-up horn is on all the time regardless of gear selected.

I'm not sure exactly which shifter/transmission this truck has but if there's a small shifter lever just under the steering wheel, remove the covers on the column and look to see if there aren't 2 micro switches. The reverse switch could easily be damaged or stuck.

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
