Discussion:
info on transmisson and hydraulic hose routing

hi guys, bought an old cat v 30 b with a new motor, starts and runs great but wont shift to low side. The previous owner said he pulled and rebuilt the motor, but I think he got some hoses swapped as the front half of the reservoir pumps down and fills the rear side. pulled the cover and the gearset looks like new syncros show wear but not bad..cant find a manual...its just stuck in position. can I remove the small pump at the front and then the gears from the case? looks like a major job to pull the motor and trans. like to find someone familiar with these old machines. I just need it for around the shop and farm. looking for a diagram or any info you guys might have. thanks!
