Ignition resistor?

H45T-600-04
H2X352M0233645
4 cyl perkins LPG eng.

There is a resistor behind the hyd control valve, which is apart of the ign circuit, wired into the timing module wire harness.

What is this for exactly? And how do I tell what to replace it with if the current one is broken? (Physically broken in two....)
I see no colour coded portion on it, like the parts program suggests.
