The completion of the sale of Barloworld was set back due to time constraints on the due diligence. In southern drawl, it took longer than they thought to look at everything. Best word is now month end.

Budman, this country is down and near enough out. I cant see any way back here. And yes I would contemplate packing up and moving across the pond. I know you say there is other dealers looking for techs but I would fit in nicely to a Hyster dealer due to my experience.
Cheers Pat

Pat, We have a hard enough time trying to understand our own Southern Accent. I can only imagine a British Brogue! LOL But I wish you all the luck! Would you really be interested in moving to the US? There's other Factory dealers other than Hyster looking for good Technicians.

Was this due to MCFA, LiftOne, Barloworld or Hyster (NMHG)?

That is what I thought it would be. Due to Carter Machinary, heavy equipment cat dealer in Va, and Poole is only the lift truck side. Poole is also familier with the state. Any Idea when they say this is going to happen or have a announcement?

Herbert, everything I'm hearing, it will be Gregory Poole. Can't say how I know, but hear it's almost a done deal. Good luck!

Herbert, only time will tell. MCFA in one hand, Clark in the other. If it was me, my Clark hand would be waving bye!!! Clark isn't the lift they used to be! I've been in this field for 24 + yrs. It would be a no brainer to me.

That would make sense if they border Virginia. I think Thompson out of AL. & GA. inquired into all of LiftOne's assets, but I think G & W had first chance.

The virginia dealership...In the western part..right now it is Liftone..but that cant stay..like you said..but G and W I dont think is going after that from what I just heard...so its either Poole or Bailey i would assume

Herbert, are you talking that G & W won't go after the Virginia dealership or the Cat line that LiftOne had in the Carolina's also?
