Discussion:
hydraulic System depressurization

hey, i'm wondering how you would depressurize the hydraulic system in an electric walkie stacker.

its an SX3000-30.

the service manual keeps repeating "depressurize hydraulic system before disconnecting lines" but does not say how to do that in the service or operator manual.

any help would be appreciated.

Crack the hydraulic line just a little bit and allow the fluid to bleed the pressure. They really need a service port, I had one stuck with the forks fully raised in a stockroom once and had to drain all of the fluid the same way, was a nightmare and took forever
