have a 1/8 inch gap on drive tire after install

when installing a drive tire assembly hub will not seat onto the bearing adapter causing a 1/8 inch gap have any techs had this problem before is it possible that the hub is worn down or the bearing adapter needs replacing we have our hubs pressed in by a local crown dealer they are not new hubs thanks for time

slingers on each side inside bore is 5 and a half inches

there are 2 different thickness drive hubs
does your drive unit use the slingers, either side of main gear where axle runs through

I've received drive tire assemblies that have had damaged hubs. I've also seen bearings and bearing adapters fail. I would remove drive tire and put a tape thru the axle bore. Compare measurement with known good wheel. Then inspect bearing adapter for damage
