Discussion:
Hard start

This lift has a hard start condition. Once is starts and warms up it runs fine and will restart. Another tech replaced the regulator before it came to us. When warm the fuel pressure is a steady 3 - 3.5 psi. When starting cold it is 10+. The mixer assy and the lock off valve was replaced with used assy. I'm not a fan but in this case it did show that there was no change. I'm new to LP and I need some help and direction.

Hi. On a cold start does the engine pop and backfire? LP engines are very picky about ignition systems. An ignition system tune up may be what it needs if you are getting a lot of popping and backfiring upon start up.

Also I cant say for sure as I do not know this machine in depth but almost all of my LP fuel experience the fuel pressure measured in in/wc. Well under a 1PSI. Does this lift have LP fuel injectors or is it a vapor draw fuel system?
