Half Cab weather protection

what are the H&S regulations about fitting a forklift with a front screen and 3/4 canvas cab, I've been told canvas/flexi rear screens not now allowed because H&S recomendations state it should have a wiper fitted..therein it has to be glass screen !! is this correct ?

Hi bentforks
I'm in Australia so can't comment on UK H&S requirements.
However keep in mind forklift operator has to have good around visibility to operate safely including being able to see where pedestrians are, to place and pick up loads, and to be able to check clearances to fixed objects and stacks of products

Fact of the week
The word "okay" (or its abbreviation "OK") originated as a humorous misspelling. In the 1830s, a fad in Boston involved using abbreviations of intentionally misspelled phrases. "OK" stood for "oll korrect," a playful mispronunciation of "all correct".
