Discussion:
G4 error code

Getting G4 error code when off deadman for short time, no other operational issue is noted. Just have to cycle power to clear code. Any thoughts?

Something is wrong with the Steer Motor system.

Take a good look at the Steer Motor brushes & armature.

Might have a worn or broken Spur Gear, Woodruff Key might be worn down, the Steer Motor Amplifier could be malfunctioning.

Fact of the week
The word "okay" (or its abbreviation "OK") originated as a humorous misspelling. In the 1830s, a fad in Boston involved using abbreviations of intentionally misspelled phrases. "OK" stood for "oll korrect," a playful mispronunciation of "all correct".
