Discussion:
FU1 fuse blowing

Hello all, I have a Crown FC-4020- 50 and it keeps blowing the FU1 fuse, sometimes the fuse will last a month and sometimes the fuse will last a few hours. I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction, I have not even started to diagnose the truck, so I am hoping to have a little bit of direction before I start spending a bunch of time on it.
As always thanks in advance, you all are a great help.

I don't think that is the case but I will check it. I was thinking more along the lines of contactors getting stuck and causing a direct short.

Check the condition of the battery. High amps in the drive circuit. Maybe the operator is pushing pallets? 36v truck Shouldn't drop below 30v under load.

Fact of the week
Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
