Navitas brand battery used in Toyota 8FBCHU25 sit down lifts.
Posi-Charge SVS 300 chargers
They work awesome!!!
HI,
For the past 5 years we have expierence with BYD forklifts.
They make use of Lithium Iron Phophate technology, just a bit safer than Li-Ion technology.
We have customers that work in 3 shifts without any problems, 1 truck, 1 battery.
Also at some sites 4 trucks with just 2 high amps chargers, they work 3 shifts with those withouit any problems.
Customers can choose a variety of options, high capacity batteries with low capacity chargers or vice versa and anything in between, it all depends on the working conditions and number of shifts.
fast charge or slower charge, highest battery capacity or a bit lower.
Although the trucks are chinese build, they have the lowest operational cost, almost no errors or malfunctions, even in harsh working enviroments.
Just some lesser quality components that are the reason for errors or malfunctions, lights, switches and so on.
Also the batteries keep their capacity, even after 5 years of intensive use (working in 3 shifts).

Perfect, here also are using lifst with lithium and are working very well. Wich brand are you using for?
Lithium batteries are the future. We have 5 lifts using them 24/7 with only opportunity charging - lunch and coffee breaks. We just completed our 1st year with them - absolutely trouble free.
NO battery changing, watering, cleaning, maintenance.
In our operation they are a PERFECT fit !!
More expensive ??? NO!! Consider a 24 hour operation - we need 3 lead acid batteries per lift - time lost due to changing batteries, a crane, crane maintenance and inspections, a man to do cleaning, watering, maintenance on the batteries. A room devoted to charging. You get that space back for another use.
Lead acid batteries in our operation are only lasting 3-5 years and then replacement necessary. We are hard on our batteries as is everybody else - don't fool yourself everybody treats batteries badly. Often low on water, cables ripped off during changes, watering system failures result in low cells etc.etc..
The REAL expensive option is lead acid if you do the math.
Do your research and find a GOOD reputable Li-On supplier in your area, one that offers a good warranty and tech support and don't look back.
Lithium Ion is the future !!!!
