got a hold of a manual and got it to display fault codes via several attempts using the lift/lower joystick 2 forwrd-2 back - 2 forwards and got it to display fault code 45. did all the checks and found everything to be ok. i have been told from a good source that the power module could be at fault so gonna fit it to there other truck and see what happens.

I'm afraid there's no way to display the codes, pathfinder plug in is needed. It sounds like there's a sensor fault and the truck is failing safe.
