Discussion:
flashing pre glow sign

Hi all,
I have a Linde H80 typ 396 S/N 396W00720. The truck shows always a flasching pre glow sign. The truck has no restriction of driving or use of working hydraulic.
Has some one an idear what it can be?

Showing items 1 - 4 of 4 results.
A lot of Lindes will flash the glow light when the preset preventative maintenance time has elapsed it is set up at factory as a reminder
It can be turned off but you need a program and laptop to do it I usually reset the lifts I knew were on a set pm schedule at 25000
Hrs so light would not come on

Hi,
A flashing pre-glow sign usually indicates that the vehicle's glow plugs are active, helping to warm the engine before starting, especially in cold weather. However, if it continues flashing after the engine has started, it could signal a fault in the glow plug system, sensors, or related electronics. It's best to check your vehicle's manual for guidance and have it inspected by a qualified mechanic to prevent possible engine starting or performance issues.

Hi karait,
I think you are right. My first idear was the engine kontroler.
But it is a expensive part, die you know if Linde Software or engine Software is required?

Is this the yellow LED with the spiral?
Well - if it flashes you may have some malfunction in the
engine or in the engine control unit. I'm afraid, you have to use some diagnostics soft.
