Well, I see now what is causing the -16 to show in the thread title, you apparently clicked on the -16 topics when looking for a place to post your thread.
Are you still unable to connect to the diagnostic link?
Getting into the ECM may shed some light on the problem if you can get the active DTCs to display (if any are present).
APPS issues almost NEVER cause the MIL to light because it is the very nature of the work the APPS does that requires the ECM to tolerate "changes or variances" in the voltage signal from the APPS.
I believe that is why there are 2 separate windings in both the APPS and the throttle position sensors, so the ECM can compare the signals and decide if an abnormal signal is being sent.
Even with 2 signals, the ECM must be tolerant of slight deviations or else the MIL would be on all the time.
More than a few times, I have had to relearn new APPS pots 2 or more times using our Hitachi service tool before the ECM becomes educated. Other forum members have indicated that sometimes the learn is not as simple or as quick as a manual would lead you to think it is.
If you do not have the pot set to the correct position when you attempt to do the learn, that can affect the learning too.

It is a 14 the model and serial is posted as the thread header it was placed here by the website I have tried several times to work the pedal I do know its a pain sometimes I assume that the fault light engine with exclamation point will flash I followed the steps on the 1300 rpm thread regarding learning the aps I am surprised that the engine doesn't throw a code at all the engine runs great drives and perform all functions until the rams drop. You can cycle the key and it will return to full speed I have removed both terminals on battery for awhile so it is either a hard code or still active

OK, let's get something cleared up here.
Is this truck a -14 or is it a -16?
I look at 1 page of the forum and I see it as a -14.
I look at another page and it has -16 in the discussion title.
If this is a -14, it should be capable of performing the flash code provided the APPS is good and is properly learned up.
And then the dance must be done with perfect timing and counts.
It is sometimes hard to get the pedal dance to work, but patience and persistence is required.
I can't say the same for a -16 as I have not had to work with them.

Install new accelerator pot and temp switch for ecm did the learn process for the accelerator and no change in problem I do not get a fault light but it will go to half throttle safe mode I disconnected both terminal on battery to clear code and no change pedal dance does not work on this set up apparently no digital hour meter and trouble does light up before stating

Thanks I see the plug now got to buy an adaptor I was leaning to that apps too the engine revs and handles for awhile then goes to limp resetting key switch will allow full throttle until you a low it to idle then it will return to limp mode

On the earlier FG-14 trucks (with K series Nissan engine) a truck could go into limp mode due to a defective accelerator pedal position sensor WITHOUT turning on the MIL.
On those trucks, Komatsu had placed the diagnostics connection under the floorboard near the inching cable bell crank. It is a small black, 4 wire connector capped off with a weatherpack cover. You will need an adapter harness to connect it to a standard OBD plug.

The fact that you are unable to initiate the pedal dance to display codes further supports the premise that the accelerator pedal position sensor is faulty.
Without a sound APPS, the ECM does not recognize the command to enter DTC flash code mode.
