Thanks
Hi, everyone
I have a order picker BT OE35, his trip and give me error code -49 to push in FW position and trip, and give me -53 to pull RV position and trip. I change a 1REC, 2REC, 5REC. Change the current sensor, I repair Plug A, and Plug B. Change the 3REC & 4REC change the 25 REC. And the other snubber change the position, change de accelarator potenciometer. And today I change de reactor for another they having. The motor is ok, because a hit the FW/REV contactor and after I push the 1A contactor and they we run. Thanks for your help. Sorry for my ignorance I want to learn.
i was going to suggest to check the capacitor.
if there is any bulging around the terminals the capacitor is probably bad, it may check good with a meter but the bulging is telling a different story. One other thing to check is the spider block, i've seen those cause various problems such as this.
Must also "Tune Up" the Oscillator card with use of EV 100 LX handset.
It looks like a big calculator, black plastic body, with Red colored LCD numbers that appear on its screen.
Has to be plugged in to Oscillator card.
Thank you Tech, I never checked for open or short cqt., all findings r pointing to a faulty itermitten cap.
How are you finding the #2 SCR bad? Is it shorted? Open? Wont gate on? Leaky?... #2 SCR's should never see high current flow through them which would heat them up and cause them to fail....unless, the capacitor is shorting. Replace the cap. The 1X choke is one of two winding found in the Reactor/1X choke assembly (the big black module that says EV-100 on it)...the 1 X choke is inline with the capacitor and # 2 SCR...but I have NEVER seen one fail. I would replace the capacitor and go from there.
load test the battery, and be sure the current limit and plugging power is properly set, make sure the screws that hold down the 'spider block' are the right screws in the right places, and be sure to do a 'shorts to frame' test on ALL the power cable connections. I would also strongly consider replacing the capacitior, just to be sure.
I would also be sure to replace all the directional and 1a contactor assemblies (not just the tips).
Its installed properly. it would seem that when the truck gets hot then it PMT's, (jerks into 1A) codes then stops until the key switch is recycled. But #2 rec has failed 2x in the past 6 months, wondering if its TVH elec. parts
make sure you are putting in a #2 rec and not a #5. #2 should have a red dot on it. you can use a # 2 in place of a #5 but not the other way around.
what is the 1x choke? The #2 rec. has failed about 3 times in 6 months, the 3rd time the problem reoccured after 1 week. I haven't check the truck yet but I thinking its going to be the #2 rec again.
How often? Two things to check...check the capacitor and check the choke winding of the 1X choke (personally never seen one fail)...also check/replace 22 filter. Thing is, bad capacitor or choke should be causing PMT trips.
