Craig,

First, you need to check the CANBUS system. Looking at the steer column, on the right side you should see a black rubber cover. Under that is a connector with 3 sockets. Battery unplugged, connect ohm meter between pin A and B, reading should be about 60 ohms. Could be as low as 45 ohms depending on the system. If you read 120 ohms, one termination resistor has failed. If all is good, suspect failed connection at the VSM. Look for failed or damaged harness, possible pins and sockets. The codes all list the VSM. That is why you need to verify connection at VSM. Good Luck.

The hard to do we do right away. The impossible just takes a little longer.

Fact of the week
The black box flight recorder was invented by Australian scientist David Warren in the mid-1950s. While initially met with indifference in Australia, his invention gained international recognition, particularly in the UK, and is now a mandatory piece of safety equipment on all commercial aircraft.
