Toyota 5FB15:
ERROR CODE C0, E0,A9

Can anyone help me how to troubleshoot an error code
"C0,E0,A9" from our Toyota Electric forklift model 5FB15?

I'm just going to hijack this thread if you don't mind...
I've also got a 5FB15 in the workshop that was throwing error C0.
We replaced the CPU board, started getting C0, E0, A9.
Also tried replacing the DC-CD board, SDD board and even the main transistors.
Nothing changed.
Also cleaned contactor tips, still nothing.
Power diodes seem fine, as do the capacitors and resistors. Tried connecting a new battery, no effect.
Even ordered another CPU board replacement thinking the first came faulty.
Funny thing is when I was measuring the CN109 on the SDD board, I shorted two pins (oops!) and then the error was gone - for a few minutes. The forklift operated normally in that time.
At this point I'm completely out of ideas.

Update: refurbished existing board, did find a blown transistor on it. After receiving refurbished board, I replaced all 3 TMP's, installed refurbished card. Unit worked great for a couple of hours then while working the sideshifter it did it again, code E0 reappeared no lift functions. Can't find any shorts, pump motor is clean, no shorts to frame at all. Could it be that the existing board is faulty & should just be replaced with new one instead of just repairing it? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I had this recently and went through the same steps as you with the same results the hydraulic control board needed to be replaced as well.

Motors tested good, no chassis shorts, good batt. went through a good set of tm's to find the board bad. mine ran for 30 mins

hi, can you tell me what caused the code E0 & what it took to fix error. mine if a 5FBC25 WITH ERROR CODE E0:
NO HYDRAULIC FUNCTIONS. ALL CONTACTORS, FUSES & MOTORS ARE OK. OPERATOR STATED THAT LIFT WAS WORKING FINE THEN HE HEARD CONTACTORS TRIPPING BEFORE IT QUIT WORKING.

Any luck on the issue you had in November? I have A C0 code. Found the transistors bad. Changed them and they blew again shortly after. Cannot find any shorts.
