Raymond 420-C30TT:
Error code 4G

The Raymond lift displayed error 4G this morning. Maintenance powered the machine off and started it again, and the error code was cleared. I'd like to know what a 4G error is. I doubt strongly that power cycling the lift actually fixed the problem, and I want to make sure that this thing is safe to use.

4G
TPC detected open when commanded closed.
TPA has detected the TPC open after power up. Run test o00, cycle keyswitch to clear.
Possible weak battery, intermittent open of 750amp fuse, fuse relay card malfunction has been known to cause crazy faults. Contactor tips could be pitted\worn. Manual statesif all twata pass, replace TPA, which is doubtfully bad, but I have been wrong aboutnthat in the past.
