Discussion:
error code 21

please help, I have an error code 21, full functions on my jack except no lift. I usually only work on pe 4500 and only have those manuals. I've already tried changing the solenoid, no issue there.

You probably indexed the traction pot at the incorrect spot. Raise drive tire off floor with jack and move pot away from throttle gear. Then with handle down and brake switch closed hit one of the travel switches while reindexing the pot and then make sure it does not move. It may be correct but if it was normal speed before and now super slow, I would check that. Is the jumper wire correct on the pot?

Check the pressure transducer. If the truck thinks you have it overloaded it will only let you run at slow speed.

#21 will not disable lift it is for accel potentiometer and may keep you from having high speed but that is it. Is the truck in lift lock out? Is the solenoid energizing and suppling power to motor. Are the brushes in the motor ok?

Fact of the week
In 1923, French tennis player René Lacoste was promised a crocodile leather suitcase by his captain if he won his next match. He lost the match but won the nickname "the crocodile" which he had sown onto his tennis attire. Ten years later he launched the first polo shirt and Lacoste, the first brand to feature a logo on its clothing.
