Discussion:
Error 62 and 99

Hello,
I have a problem. It gives me error 62 and 99 PIMESPO ??20 electric car. From the description I have of the errors it tells me to go into the display settings and reset the errors from there. Does anyone know how to get into the display settings so I can do a bug reset?

Thanks

error 33

Wrong serial number for that Andrew i think....This is the older "early" XE model and not what OM would consider the "AC truck".

Lyudmil,
Error Code 62 relates to "The currents stored in the POWER Module are not the
same as those stored in the DISPLAY Module. Traction is disabled, but braking remains enabled. Reset the alarm by activating the AUX CURRENT #1 option on the DISPLAY Module".

So you'll either need OM Laptop Software or a Hand Held Consul to enter relevant programming, you can't do it without one or the other i'm afraid, and adjust the Display Modlue settings. However unless this error message has always been present to the truck or unless a module has been swapped it's highly unlikely the truck has changed it itself so shouldn't need re-setting....

Often find many Current related codes appear as part of a wiring fault. The usual suspect is the left and right motor Field control wiring where it enters the control panel via 2 x two pin multiplugs and one for each motor FDX and FSX (1 red and 1 black wire from memory). Check the multiplugs for signs of burning or poor connection. I can send details via e-mail if required - address in my profile.

Yes Code 99 relates to service overdue to hours set between intervals as Andrew says.

E-mail me if required....

Service life of a forklift is proportional to how well it is maintained.
Code 62

Encoder error

One of the 2 encoders (or both) does not detect the
voltages/currents applied. If speed control is enabled,
the speed is reduced when moving

Code 99 could possibly be service overdue

At the opening ceremony of the Sydney Harbour Bridge in 1932, marching bands were instructed to walk out of step as they crossed the bridge. This unusual directive was given as a precaution due to concerns about the bridge's structural integrity during its early use.
