Jungheinrich ETV 216:
Error 58

Hi

Been out to the above truck comes up error 058 STEER ANGLE
The motor turns slowly when you power on the truck, would it be the sensor bearing or there is another sensor mounted on top of the motor under a cover

Many thanks for any suggestions

Paul

Hi,
The Error code No = 58 is often caused by various causes such as the faulty of the bearing sensor inside the steering motor or the rim bearing above the gearbox/underneath of the drive motor was worn out leading to block the steering motor force.
I have recently faced with 2 trucks and each caused by one of the causes mentioned above.
