Drive unit rebuild

Anyone rebuild an SC4000 series drive unit?

We have ours mostly apart. We are trying to get the main helical drive gear off the drive axle shaft, but no mater how much heat or pressure we use it wont budge. We have not maxed out our 20 ton press yet as we are afraid of cracking something. If you know any tricks please let us know.

Thanks

That was 9 months ago. We just had to keep the heat up and use about 2000lbs on the press to get it to move. The rest was easy.
