Thanks for the reply, I will check it tomorrow.
The CID ( Central Information Display ) hasn't got a green light on it - the display unit with the controls on is the CID.
The grey box with the single green led & 2 connector plugs is the MCU ( Main Control Unit )
The cooling fans on a RRE only work when the MCU activates them, they don't run all the time like the older model Reflex.
Have you checked the battery isn't defective?
Check / tighten the 3 nuts under the trucks battery isolator plug - DISCONNECT the battery first before you go in with the 13mm spanner!
Loose isolator nuts where a known issue, that's Toyota quality control processes for you.
Hi,
I can't see any error in bisplay because is off and does not open. I disconnected from the battery but nothing.I checked the connector plugs under the plastic cover too and are ok.
The problem begun after they connect the battery from the end of charging.
A strange thing is that from the fan which cool the units , I hear a noise like tzzzzzzzzzz and dos not work.
What do you mean emergency open? How I can do this?
Thanks
So the truck is totally dead?
CID doesn't light up / wont allow you to view truck info or errors when I button is pressed?
You got a BT can service key?
Have you tried disconnecting the battery for at least 1 minute & then reconnecting?
Have you tried starting the truck in emergency mode?
Is the CID actually still plugged in? Lift the arm rest cover, the storage pocket & then check both the connector plugs hidden under there for the CID.
