Ralph, the John S Barnes company is located in Ohio. They don't really make too many different kinds of pumps, just different voltages, tank sizes, and valve configurations. I would see if there is a Barnes website. Is this piece all bolted together? Pump, motor and tank all in one? If so, the motor and tank will be black and the valve/pump assembly in the middle will be aluminum. If this is so, I'm willing to bet any forklift dealer can cross this over just by looking at it. I highly doubt that this is a Fraser only item, especially since they didn't order 100,000 at a time. I've personally taken these Barnes pump units from a Crown and put it into a Raymond. Let me know if you still have troubles. Andy

If you look on the lift pump, you should be able to find a manufacturer and a model number for the pump itself. Most forklift manufacturers do not make their own pumps. You can probably purchase a rebuilt pump. If you post the make and model # of the pump, I can help you find a rebuilder. Good luck.

Thanks, for all the feed back. I was looking for an easy way to find a lift pump, without taking to old one out to match up. Well I guess I will have to put the truck down and pull it out. Thanks again. Ralph

The Keneth S. Fraser company was located in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Ken Fraser passed away a number of years ago and his company closed shortly after. They used standerd generic off the shelf items such as GE Controls so you might have some luck shopping around. Good luck (but the lift truck is probably 30 years old)

Been in the business far too long.
If you can send me a couple of pictures of your unit I can try to find the manufacturer. We are located about an hour from Toronto, and have contacts with other lift truck manufacturers in Ontario.
