Discussion:
Dash or Instrument Cluster

After a minute or two on normal operation the battery level indicator on the dash goes blank. The back light is still lit and the forklift still operates nomally. The dash will still show the blinking wrench but not trouble codes. I am trying to determine if it is the dash or something before it that has a problem.

1st thing is to confirm you have a good battery, and the battery is not loosing voltage under load. read "at rest" voltage and hydraulic stall (not more than 3 seconds max lift height stall, should not drop more than10% of "at rest" voltage").
Next is to confirm no shorts to frame from ANY power cable of less than 100K ohms.

Fact of the week
The origin of "love" as the score zero in tennis is debated, but two main theories prevail. One suggests it's derived from the French word "l'oeuf" (egg) which resembles the shape of the number zero. The other proposes it's related to the Dutch word "lof" meaning "honour" as players might be playing for honour when scoreless.
