Have E60Z with freezer package, but when working on freezer at -20ºC , it gets a lot of ice over de dash display, when it melts seems to get in to this component and it fails stoping the truck. We wait on the sun till it dries and start operating again. We have ask the manufacturer and say there is no other option for this dash. Some one with similar experience that can help with this?

Hi Kevin
You may want to ask the company that repairs tose dashs for both Yale and Hyster. It called Flight Systems. We also have had the brake switch get wet an cause that.
Have a Great Day
you can get a little heater kit for this problem. i,ll hunt out some numbers tomorrow
its true these babies suffer from this problem.the only answers are lots of insulation tape and di-electric grease as previously posted.
You might try, if you have not, a di-electric grease compound put into the harness connections to keep the moisture out.
Does it have a code come up when it stops running. I have 50
e50z's and when I hose them off half of them will quit running for about an hour or two. Its a brake switch that gets damp and locks the systems up.
