Thanks we checked the pump pressure it is ok looking at the priority valve now.
I'd check the priority valve. Follow load sensing hose from steering unit (orbitrol) to find your priority valve >It's build in the main hydraulic pump. Chances are it's stuck in the position "lift".
When applying brake it could be that it gets in its normal position, Daewoo had a service campaign for this, i'd suggest getting more info from a local dealer.
I don't have much experience with Daewoo but would say the steer motor is getting robbed of current. What is the battery voltage at rest and what is it during raise only? If it is a DC truck then how do the brushes and armature on the steer motor look? Are all the steer motor cables clean and tight?
Still need help with this problem. The steering shakes and becomes hard when I use the lift at the same time. Daewoo Dc20e-3 forklift
