* Check battery state-of-charge and take corrective action if necessary.

Those fault codes deal with steering so I do not think that is your problem. What does the battery display show? If it is all the way down and flashing it is in lift lock out.

My Crown SP 3000 forklift has been sitting parked for a while with the battery fluid below the level. I have filled up the battery compartments with Sulfaric Acid and topped them of with the distilled water. I charged the batteries up overnight. The forklift is driving, however the platform with forks does not go up or down. I read the error codes 203, 213 and 216. What do the indicate?

the ev100 card is the brand and model nomenclature for the GE traction logic and semiconductor oscillation control card, which is mounted pretty far back up in this unit and not to be messed with unless you have had considerable training in the related safety issues of working on one of these controls. I would not be the least bit concerned, at this point, about "dry" solder joints, These cards are about 100 times more likely to have a connecting wire die of old age and vibration rather then the solders internal to the card to cause a problem
Are you waiting 8 hours after the charge cycle stops before operation of the truck? this is a 'must do'.
You may be able to set your charger to not charge quite so hot, rather than readjust the truck.

"it's not rocket surgery"
Thanx Edward t, the voltage was at 26.3volts yes it is a 24v battery, a friend also said to remove the traction card it possibly could have dry solder joints, what is the ev100? you speak of? After further investigation this happens all the time with this truck after charging, I used the lift motors cause they were the only thing still usable the forward n reverse were the only things not working after lifting n lowering for a bit to bring down the battery voltage the truck was then drivable :)

Your local Crown dealer will be the only 'correct' place to acquire manuals. We can only discuss portions of the manuals, and things we know from experience.
Code 16 refers to the battery being over charge. you will need to fix this before you will be able to go any further. what is the 'at rest' battery voltage? you may have to use an ev100 handset to set the card to the actual voltage of the battery. (are you sure you have a 24volt battery in this truck?)
