Crown RC 3000 s/n 1A229411 Plugging issue

EV100LX

I have eliminated the SCR panel by installing it into another unit and testing it worked great. I disconnected the 1A contacter and at full SCR or 1A the unit plugs hard, comes to a stop real quick. It plugs fine at slower speeds it just seems to be at high speed. The speed pot checks out great, as I said the SCR panel is fine, it has also been pulled apart and every component checked plus put on the sister unit. Drive motor brushes have been checked, static strap is ok, cables are not shorting out anywhere that I can see or checked with a meter. The EV100 card has even been tested on the other unit.

Please email me with your thoughts.
Thanks

it may be the "d" contactor. The smallest and lowest on the contactor panel. It may appear ok but a swap may prove it faulty

I know the recs are not the problem because we used a different panel from another unit and install the panel from this unit in another lift and it worked perfect.

I will disconnect one motor at a time tomorrow are see if there is some kind of motor issue.

Thanks

No, the hyd. system not cause that.
but if you disconect one motor and work with the other, and after
do the same with the other motor.
only for check it, if one of the two motors have a trouble in the inner, on one of the two motors or in both.

other cause may be is the rec in the contactor panel.

The unit has a code -93, looked at the mor and brushes don't see an issue. Not sure how the balance contactor is tied in.

seems like the motors are the only thing you haven't had checked by replacement with known good parts.

Fact of the week
The dot-com bubble, a period of large and rapid investments in internet-based companies, peaked in 2000 and saw the Nasdaq Composite index rise by 579%. Then the bubble imploded. As the value of tech stocks plummeted, cash-strapped internet start-ups became worthless and collapsed.
