Hi Crownie, Noticed you have a fair bit of knowledge in the forklift section, hoping you may be able to possibly help me with a crown 35RR (35RRTT198) model wiring diagram please?

Thanks in advanced mate.

Mechatronic1,

Seeing as how the last response from someone to this thread was in January you are better off starting a new discussion to get a more timely response.

New to this site. Hope you found your manual. Have a Issue with a 20mt without slow or fast speed. Belly switch does engage a contactor but unit will not reverse direction it simply stops moving. Suspect resister. Anyone have any suggestions.

Is the motor turning when commanded to or no? if the motor is turning but wont go fwd or rev, then more than likely the key that holds the drive gear is sheared, have seen this on more than one occasion on them.

Anyone have any experience troubleshooting the drive-wheel circuit on the 20MTs? The motor by the wheel is getting power from the 4 wires coming in, but when I twist the throttle it doesn't work in either direction, turtle or rabbit. I kind of suspect a fault somewhere in the switch circuit. But would appreciate the benefit of anyone's expertise.

Thanks!

Max

I also have a crown 20mt Forklift unit, and my service technician has pulled the batteries and has questions on the wiring of the batteries. If anybody can fax me a wiring schematic of this unit, that would be most helpful. My fax number is 215-695-3320.

Turning the key off and having the motor keep running proves that the solenoid is bad.

The button is on the handle. Sometimes it works and sometimes you get the clicking of the solenoid. Also when I was testing the motor would stay on even if I turned the key off and would have to disconnect the quick connect in order for it to stop. So test the solenoid on the motor?

Check on the batteries. Same as when we start our cars. Key on and start, can hear click/tuck but starter motor not running. Also check on the lift solenoid - you can jump the 2 big cables together to see whether the motor works. If this works, then change the solenoid. If the above do not work, then the possibility will be the lift motor.

The up function does not work all the tiume. It does once in a while but when it doesn't I hear the contacts clicking but motor does not go on. Loose wire, motor windings? who knows. Any advice or schematic would help. Thank you.
