Discussion:
Controls

Hi,
We desperate need some help adjusting the controls of our new EP EFL203p forklift.
This forklift has an app that we can access via bluetooth, BLE diagnostics, where we there can adjust various parameters. Problem is that there are so many parameters to adjust, and the technician we had here had no idea and just started adjusting in a sort of trial and error test.

The controls are too abrupt and jerky, there is no sensitivity in the accelerator pedal, it sort of goes from nothing to speed(not very fast, but too much to enable smooth movements). When depressing the pedal it moves off, and keeps increasing speed instead of having a crawl speed, which makes me having to press and release, press and release to maintain a slow speed. This in turn makes whatever we have loaded very unstable.
Am looking for more of an instant reaction, but smooth and slow and only increasing when the pedal is pressed more.

Same goes for the mast movements. Too abrupt and jerky, going from nothing to moving with a jerk.

Does anyone have a guide for this, or does anyone know which parameters should be changed?

Thanks,
Sean

Hi Sean,

Regarding your forklift.

Please send me whatever faults you are facing to reevesh at orizengroup dot com
We import the EP Forklifts, I could try and assist with my technicians.
