Discussion:
Communication loss at start attempt

Looking for advice on communication loss at start attempt? Unit had several techs working on it, has new ECM (works on other units), OEM plugs, OEM crank and cam sensor (good signals), good compression, strong 5 volt reference signal, new battery (clean cables), additional ground cables added, chassis grounds cleaned, etc. Hitachi scan tool 3000 displays live data at key-on, communication loss with engine cranking even with key switch and or starter bypassed to crank. Looses spark when comm loss occurs. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. -Curtis H.
