Turn the key on and codes 38 right after start out shifter in forward and 97 pops up. No service manual and no code list. Can anyone provide a short description

update... Did want to up date this thread and key everyone know that although I had rebuilt controllers in this unit that in fact the controller was faulty and was causing the 97 and 38 code. Replace controller and faults are gone and unit running good.
You are correct, fault 38 is line contactor does not pull in. Fault 97 is logic failure in slave controller. Confirm your line contactor coil is ok and no contactor parts are binding. Double check your seat and brake switch.
I should mention that both controllers were replace a couple if months ago so I am assuming I have no controller problems. The codes I found out are referring to the contacter and the controller but I cannot get the code 38 to show again to check for low voltage at coils wires activating my contacter. I think I may have contacter issues
