Yale GLC050VXNGSE088:
Code 882-4

I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. This truck has this code 882-4 setting. I did preliminary digging and found this code may pertain to the lighting system. All of my rear lights works. My head lights do not work nor is there any power to them. I haven't checked fusing or wiring at this point. Challenge also is I have no wiring schematic. I'll be looking at the truck this afternoon and was hoping to be equipped with some more info going in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jason

You might have a defective Vehicle Manager.

Voltage for all lights originates at the Vehicle Manager.

You'll see it on the wiring diagram.

I may have a wiring diagram for this truck, I'll check when I get back to the house. Lost my thumb drive and hope my back up is where I left it!

Jay,

882-4 - Tail/Marker Lamp Driver Output OORL. I would check all the relays in the PDM, plastic box in front of the battery tray. Also, check your fuses, with the damaged wires may have a fuse blown. Swap relays and see if the code changes. Good Luck.

The hard to do we do right away. The impossible just takes a little longer.
Updated info.
So I went on site and dug some more. Forward light fuse good and voltage present. I swapped the forward and reverse relays but made no difference. I pulled the rear overhead guard harness cover off and found some crushed wires. I pulled off all loom and had a look. Corrected wiring issue. Made no difference. I ran out of time but will be returning today. Next step is to see what I have at the forward relay. I'm assuming the VSM receives an input from the directional switch(this truck is fingertip control) and then provides a ground for the coil side of the relay? If this is good then I guess I'm perform continuity checks on the wiring from the distribution panel all the way to the front lights. I wish I had a wiring schematic for this truck. Makes it a bit more challenging. Anyway, hopefully someone may have some insight for me at some point today.
thanks,
Jay
