Discussion:
Code 573 ,574,557

Hi I'm working on a stock picker that comes up with these event codes 573 comes up first, the unit stops randomly and the display reads lower lift height, but the platform is just off the ground
Any information would be much appreciated ,as I don't have these event codes in my service manual.

Have you tried recalibrating the truck? If not i'd reccommend that. 573 and 574 are very similar except 573 is for down and 574 is up. 557 is for the traction motor which has no close relation with the lift system, these are almost 2 diffrent issues. If recalibrating dosent work i would start by taking a dvom and testing the cuircuits or using the analyzer menu built into the trucks to seecwhat the truck sees. That may narrow down the issue to an electrical or component issue.

Fact of the week
Brothers Adolf ("Adi") and Rudolf ("Rudi") Dassler split their shoe company after WWII due to a bitter feud, and established the rival companies of Adidas and Puma. Their personal animosity and business rivalry divided their German hometown Herzogenaurach. The town became known as "the town of bent necks" due to the intense loyalty to each brand.
