Discussion:
Code 46

We removed the vehicle manager and sealed the connectors in a plastic bag then pressure washed the truck. It sat overnight before the battery was reconnected. At start up we now get a code 46. All contactor connections OK, no apparent shorted contacts.

Since replies were slow in coming, we delved into it and found a contactor had not closed when it should. Cleaned it and we are now running.

Thanks for the feedback fredz0003

Pressure washed..... wow not in a million years I would pressure wash our raymond trucks with so many circuit cards, cables, and all the chains and mechanical parts. We blow the dust and motors, and cleaned with rags. Hopefully you learned your lesson as for the code I wish I could help you but my Order Pickers don't have that code... But usually codes that start with a 4 are contactors related. Good Luck mate.

Fact of the week
In 1923, French tennis player René Lacoste was promised a crocodile leather suitcase by his captain if he won his next match. He lost the match but won the nickname "the crocodile" which he had sown onto his tennis attire. Ten years later he launched the first polo shirt and Lacoste, the first brand to feature a logo on its clothing.
