Found the right side tm didnt pass the tests you gave me. Installed the new right side tm and problem still occured. I ended up having to get a new power card. Im assuming one of the tms shorted out the power card. But that did it. Thanks so much for your help. Im saving this just in case i run into that problem again.
Yes, the power card is what turns the tms on/off so it could cause this (I have yet to see this scenario)
I have replaced many tms for this code. I have not needed to replace a power card for code 26 but I'm still young...
you can test them with a multimeter with diode test function:
pos lead c1 - neg lead c2e1 open
c1 - b1/g1 open
c2e1 - b1/g1 open
c2e1 - b2/g2 open
c2e1 - c1 >1ohm
c2e1 - e2 open
e2 - c2e1 >1ohm
e2 - b2/g2 open
Could it also be a faulty pkwer card?
Im getting 37.8v at the B+ terminals and 35.6v at the S1 and S2 terminals on the power card. Not getting any voltage at S3 terminal. B- testing good. 37.8v at MDA2 and MDA1 but 35.6v at MDS1 and 2. Bad transistor modules?
There is a 50 or 60 amp fuse on the contactors. It feeds the tms for drive fields check that first. If ok probaly bad transistor modules behind the power card (rectangle black things with 3 screws and 2 small terminals on the top).
Edit: 26 is open in drive motor fields.
