Clark forlift cuts off after starting

We have a clark forklift it starts but it cuts off rite away what should i look for? Is the propane not flowing threw?

If it starts as you release the key, then the spark ain't so good due to weak battery, weak coil, old plugs or wires.

hope some can help i have a a unit that starts fine when it is cooled down but when warm it just cranks until you release the key but not every time.

I think those machines have a ballast resistor hooked to the coil. If that is bad it would cause it to start but then shut off as soon as you let go of the key from start position. It is down on the right side of the motor by the coil and tricky to get at.
