Good Morning!
I had a Cat 2EC25 come into the shop with no reverse. Replace the faulty reverse contactor and now find I have no high speed travel.
If I close the by-pass contactor (also brand new) manually while the unit is running,it trips out the directional contactor. I have verified via Schematics that everything is wired correctly.
Any thoughts or ideas

I thought that that might be what you were eluding to,but did not want to assume...Thanks again for the input
Some of those lifts had the brake switch because operators would ride the brake pedal cause the controller to overheat.
This unit does not have a brake switch.
As it turns out,the bypass contactor had been deactivated thru the settings. One of my techs was familiar with the unit and was able to navigate thru the dash and reset.
Thanks for the input
interesting thought....why the brake switch?
I would check the brake switch.
