Discussion:
Cam timing

I need to know how to correctly set the camshaft timing on a H30 inline 6-cylinder Nissan motor. I have 2 service manuals, and they don't explain how to correctly set the timing. I am replacing the timing chain, cam gear and crankshaft gear. Unsure where the timing marks are supposed to line up. Pictures or videos would be a great help.
