Have an old Clark that the owner wanted the starter removed and rebuilt. When I got the starter back and installed the engine wouldn't turn over. Ran a new positive cable from the battery to rule that cleaned my grounds. Pulled starter and bench tested ok. Pulled the spark plugs out to try and turn over by hand and I can't. Has anyone come a crossed this of a truck only sitting for a little over week? The old starter came out as a complete unit nothing feel down into the flywheel when I removed it. Thanks for your help.

Are you positively sure the motor could turn over BEFORE you removed the starter? Sounds like the owner "thought" it was the started because it wouldn't turn over so they asked to have it rebuilt.

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
