Thanks, I will rebuild the vaporizer and check the pedal sensor. it was replaced when I bought the forklift but might have been installed incorrectly.
E-24 is set because the throttle or pedal sensors are not calibrated.
To calibrate the throttle system do the following:
- Turn key on and count 2 seconds
- Turn key off and count 10 to 12 seconds
- Turn key on and count 2 seconds
Once this is completed the learn has been completed.
Do not move the pedal during this process.
One other calibration that should be done is the 'Idle Air volume learn' which can only be done via the Diagnostic software program either on laptop or OBDII handset. (i'm not 100% sure on the handset part as i've never used one, i've only used the Diagnozer PC program to interface with these systems.
You cannot access this test/calibration through the dash as far as i know.
Generally doing the throttle learn calibration eliminates the fault though.
If the fault is persistant on the display you may have to do a code clear process using the 'pedal routine' to display all the codes stored and do the reset. This is called the 'pedal dance' by most tech's that are familiar with this.
This requires performing a series of pedal interactions in specific sequences of presses and timing between presses to access the level that allows the reset of the codes.
As far as fuel rushing into the intake? check your vaporizer, sounds as if it has a bad lockoff or ruptured diaphragm.
have you drained vaperizer or rebuilt it. e-24 code check acell pedal stop could be worn might out of spec
